Workshop on Risk Management and Irregularities

On Thursday, 10 April, within the activities of the Twinning project “Strengthening Rural Development Programme under IPARD in Montenegro“, a workshop was held as first part of the training on risk management and irregularities.

Presentations on work methodologies (ISO 31000 and COSO model), requirements for effective and efficient implementation of the related procedures, risks, detection of irregularities and reporting system was held by Ms. Jurgita Butrimienė, director of the Risk Assessment and Management Department of the Lithuanian National Paying Agency and Ms. Kärt Vahtra, Head Specialist of Internal Audit Department of the Estonian Agricultural Registers and Information Board. The workshop was attended by the staff of the Directorate for IPARD Payments and the Directorate for Rural Development of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Montenegro, as well as by representatives of the National Fund of the Ministry of Finance.
