The National Coordination Body for Communicable Diseases gave its consent to the order, which during the suspension of educational work in public and private educational institutions and the application of the online learning system and based on the decision of the state administration body competent for education affairs, provides one of the parents / guardian / foster parent / adoptive parent or single parent of a child under the age of 11 and of a child with special educational needs – developmental disabilities with the right to paid absence from work.

The order that enters into force on Monday, 19 October was issued following an agreement, which representatives of the Ministries of Education and Economy, the Secretariat for Legislation and the Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms reached at the request of the National Coordination Body.

An order by which the epidemiological measure of limiting the number of people at the table in catering facilities ceases to be valid for members of a shared family household, came into force yesterday.

In local self-government units in which the fourteen-day cumulative incidence rate (CI) is between 400 and 799 per 100,000 inhabitants, applies an epidemiological measure which allows a maximum of two persons to be at one table inside and outside the building (on the terrace, in the garden, etc.). In local self-government units in which the KI is less than 400, it is allowed for two persons to sit at a table inside the building and four outside the catering facilities (on the terrace, in the garden, etc.). Both measures do not apply to members of a shared family household, i.e. family members who live together can sit together at a table in a catering facility, regardless of how many there are.
