Prime Minister meets with Macedonia’s new ambassador to Montenegro

Montenegro and Macedonia have traditionally good and friendly relations, as confirmed by PM Djukanovic’s recent official visit to Skoplje, where agreements on economic cooperation, social insurance and scientific and technical cooperation were signed, Montenegrin PM Milo Djukanovic and Macedonian Ambassador to Montenergo Aleksandar Vasilevski agreed during their meeting in Podgorica, adding however that there is still room for further enhancement of bilateral ties, especially in terms of visible trade.

PM Djukanovic noted that both Montenegro and Macedonia strive for the EU and NATO membership, which is crucial not only for these countries and the region’s stability, but also for the EU itself, underlining the two countries excellent cooperation within regional initiatives currently presided by Montenegro.
