Chinese Ambassador pays a farewell visit to PM Djukanovic

Montenegrin Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic thanked Chinese Ambassador to Montenegro Li Manchang on his engagement that contributed appreciably to the continuation of friendly relations between the two countries, emphasising the significance of China’s support and donations after the restoration of independence in 2006.

Ambassador Manchang spoke of his honour at being the first Chinese Ambassador to Montenegro and complimented PM Djukanovic on his efforts in providing further prosperity for the people of Montenegro and the country itself. He also expressed gratitude to the Government and Montenegrin institutions for their unselfish help after the devastating earthquake in China in 2008.

The cooperation between Montenegro and China has been excellent in almost every field, the two officials agreed, adding that economic potentials need to be further enhanced.
