Four more Montenegrin soldiers are set to join the second Montenegrin military contingent in the Pol-e Komri military base, in line with the Montenegrin Parliament’s decision of July 2009, which endorsed the sending of forty soldiers to the ISAF mission in Afganistan.
In September 2010, the second contingent of 31 Montenegrin soldiers was sent to ISAF, for a six-month term. In addition, one officer extended his engagement in Regional Command North in Mazar-e-Sharif, bringing the Montenegrin contingent to a total of 32 troops.
