Government adopts Concession Act for Moraca river power plants

The Government has adopted the Concession Act for the construction of hydroelectric power plants on the Moraca river. In addition, the Government also adopted the Draft Concession_Agreement, the Draft Sponsor Support Agreement, and the Instruction for Qualified Bidders. These documents have been adopted with the purpose of implementing the second stage of the tendering procedure for the Moraca river power plants.
The Concession Act is the document on the basis of which the process of granting concession is undertaken, and it envisages that the minimum annual electric power production by the Moraca river power plant must be 600GWh, minimum period of concession 25 years, and the minimum concession fee 2 percent of the proceeds from electricity sales.
