Government strengthens institutional framework for closer cooperation with NGOs

The Council for Cooperation between the Government of Montenegro and Nongovernmental Organisations was appointed at the Cabinet meeting on Thursday, November 25.
The move is aimed at strengthening the institutional framework for the Government-NGO cooperation, in line with the Government’s commitment to close collaboration with the civil society.
Furthermore, the Council is expected to create greater synergy and encourage regular dialogue between the Government and the civil society.
It brings together an equal number government and NGO representatives, 24, and is chaired by the MFA Secretary General.
