"…In the process of introducing the Decentralized Implementation System (DIS) of the European Union funds, which is an important prerequisite for entry into the EU, there are numerous requirements that the European Commission places on Montenegrin administration and one of them is the establishment of the Audit Authority, which will audit the use of IPA funds. In accordance with the obligations set by the Action Plan for introducing DIS, we have established the Audit Authority within the State Audit Institution. In this way, using the resources available to the SAI, we will establish the body that will adapt to requirements that we need to fullfil in the further stages of the European integration. This is certainly an important job for Montenegrin administration, because on our path to the EU integration, we will receive substantial financial assistance every year, which is necessary for our system to adapt to the effective functioning of the EU member states…"
