Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister, Mr. Igor Lukšić PhD., met with Ms. Jane Armitage, the World Bank Country Director and Regional Coordinator for Southeast Europe

The Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister, Mr. Igor Lukšić, PhD., met with the World Bank Country Director and Regional Coordinator for Southeast Europe, Ms. Jane Armitage. The Deputy Prime Minister Lukšić and Ms. Armitage have discussed the issuance of Montenegrin Eurobonds and the first exit launching of Eurobonds on this very important market. They have jointly assessed that the issuance was very successful, considering the interest of investors and the offer that was by three times higher. Ms. Armitage has expressed satisfaction with the issuance of the Eurobonds and has estimated that this is a very positive signal to investors, especially having in mind début of Montenegro on the Eurobonds market, as well as the importance of the issuance to the confidence in the economic policy. The Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Lukšić and Ms. Armitage have discussed the current cooperation and have agreed the future one. The World Bank Country Director and Regional Coordinator for Southeast Europe, Ms. Jane Armitage informed the deputy Prime Minister Lukšić, that the World Bank will provide for the significant credit support for the projects in Montenegro, worth USD 200 million for the period of four years, including the budgetary support programme – DPL (Development Policy Loan).
