Ministry of Finance Press Release: EC General Directorate for Economic and Monetary Affairs has released a revised Report for Montenegro

On the occasion of the Report of the European Commission relating to the countries that are in the process of accession to the EU, including Montenegro, analyzing the economic and fiscal indicators for the period 2009-2010, the Ministry of Finance is announcing the following: in the part related to Montenegro available macroeconomic and fiscal data for the first quarter of 2010 were indicated, provided by the following data sources: Ministry of Finance, MONSTAT, CBMNE, etc. All these data are public and available on the websites of these institutions. Regarding information contained in this Report and being published in the media that the growth of Montenegrin economy in the first quarter amounted to -4%, we would like to inform you that the European Commission, due to the technical errors in an earlier version, has published a revised Report for 2010, excluding the GDP estimates either on a quarterly or annual basis.
