Government adopted the Decree on the criteria for determining the users and the manner of distributing games on change revenues

The distribution of revenue from games on chance in the following areas: social welfare and humanitarian activities in the amount of 5%, meeting the needs of persons with disabilities in the amount of 40%, development of sports in the amount of 20%, culture and technical culture in the amount of 10 %, non-institutional education and upbringing of children and youth in the amount of 5%, contribution to the fight against drugs and all forms of addiction in the amount of 20%. This Decree has introduced a novelty that the funds of up to 10% are committed to the programmes for strengthening media pluralism in the areas of social welfare and humanitarian activities, to meet the needs of persons with disabilities, development of sports, culture and technical culture, non-institutional education and upbringing of children and youth, fight against drugs and all forms of addiction, and funds amounting to 15% will be committed to other organizations and public institutions, dealing with one of the aforementioned activities, while the remaining funds will be used to finance plans and programmes of NGOs. At the consent issued by the Government, the Commission for distribution of games on chance revenue will pass the proposal for the allocation of revenues base on games on chance. The new regulation changed the composition of the Commission appointed by the Government, which consists of one representative from the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Protection of Human and Minority Rights, Ministry of Culture, Directorate of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Education, two representatives of the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare and seven NGOs members.
