Statement of Assurance as a Confirmation of an Effective Functioning of the IPA Funds Management and Control System

The European Union (EU) through its budget is providing funds intended for the candidate countries and potential candidates through pre-accession funds, assisting them even in this manner to prepare more efficiently for the accession into this community. One of the objectives to be achieved through the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) today, and based on previous enlargements through other pre-accession funds, was to prepare the country's public administration in using small funds in order to better manage large amounts of the EU funds after the accession. In order to achieve more efficient implementation of its goals, the European Commission (EC) has developed instruments and procedures to achieve the aforementioned.
