PM Luksic hosts a New Year's cocktail, promises hard work

“I spoke earlier that I wanted us to change our social values, but this also includes regaining the sense of responsibility that should be cherished equally by all individuals, whether they be politicians, government officials, or ordinary citizens,” incoming Prime Minister Igor Luksic said at his New Year's cocktail Villa “Gorica” earlier today.

PM Luksic announced that during his mandate he will do his best to involve as many members of the Montenegrin society as possible in the country’s efforts to achieve strategic national goals, such as EU and NATO membership, economic recovery, and social inclusion. The incoming PM emphasised that the spirit of solidarity, of which the holiday season reminds us, should be present throughout the year, to which he pledged his commitment.

He promised very busy first 100 days in office and the achievement of many proclaimed goals in 2011. In this respect he endorsed close cooperation with the civil society and announced consultations on hottest topics with various stakeholders.
