PM Luksic discusses closer economic cooperation with Germany

Montenegro and Germany should broaden their cooperation in the areas of energy, aerial transport and tourism, Prime Minister Igor Luksic and Executive Director of the Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations Rainer Lindner concluded in their conversation earlier today.

Steps in this direction will be taken at the forthcoming Montenegro-Germany business forum scheduled to take place during the visit of German Foregin Minister Guido Westerwelle to Montenegro.

Stronger economic partnership would strengthen overall relations and give support to Montenegro’s EU future, PM Luksic and Mr Lindner agreed. A good start towards improved investment cooperation, they said at the meeting, would be to work harder to conclude Agreements on avoiding double taxation and on protection and promotion of foreign investment.
