“We are working with great intensity to finalise the Action Plan but this is not a task for the Government alone, but rather one that requires broader social consensus,” Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Milan Roćen said at the regular meeting of the heads of mission of EU member-states to Montenegro hosted by head of EU delegation Leopold Maurer.
Minister Roćen acquainted the Ambassadors in detail with the current activities in the processes of European and Euro-Atlantic integration. He underlined that the path of change the Government is currently taking is a proof of political stability in Montenegro as well its strong dedication to the key foreign policy priorities of joining EU and NATO and strengthening regional cooperation.
He pledged Government’s readiness to cooperate with the civil society in meeting the priorities, at the same time underlining that the biggest responsibility for meeting the EC recommendations lies with the Government.
