DPM Markovic, Ambassador: Hungary pledges continued support to Montenegro in integration, judiciary reform

Hungary has always supported Montenegro on its EU and Euro-Atlantic paths and it will continue to do so, and the cooperation between the two countries will also improve in the area of the judiciary, concluded DPM and Justice Minister Dusko Markovic and Hungarian Ambassador Tibor Czaszar at their meeting in DPM’s Cabinet.
Ambassador Czaszar underlined that the Hungarian presidency of the Council will be used to contribute to membership aspirations of the Western Balkans. He voiced Hungary’s interest in assisting the judiciary reform in Montenegro at the expert level, as well as in concluding a bilateral agreement on fight against organised crime.
DPM Markovic acquainted his interlocutor of EU integration priorities and activities in Montenegro, at the same time voicing interest in high-level meetings during the Hungarian presidency which could be used to define further steps in improving judicial cooperation between the two countries.
