Montenegro signs bilateral police cooperation agreements with Croatia, Serbia

Interior Minister Brajovic signed with his Serbian and Croatian colleagues bilateral agreements on police cooperation.
Minister Brajovic said that the cooperation between interior ministries of Montenegro and Serbia could serve as a model for the entire region, with which Minister Dacic agreed adding that it is in the interest of the entire region to join forces to fight organised crime.
The two Ministers agreed that this document will bring about swifter responses to common problems.
Minister Brajovic said that the relations with Croatia are excellent, without any outstanding issues between the two countries when it comes to police cooperation. He expressed confidence that joint action with Croatian colleagues will result in a better organised approach to fighting the common problem of organised crime.
Croatian Interior Ministry Secretary Ivica Buconjic welcomed the agreement as a confirmation of excellent bilateral cooperation in all areas and commended its contents as very modern and in line with similar instruments in Europe.
