Government of Montenegro to send aid to Japan

The Government has allocated funds for Japan relief after the massive earthquakes and tsunami have hit the country over the past several days.
The Government will send EUR 100,000 along with 10,000 on behalf of the inhabitants of the village named Japan in Andrijevica Municipality in the North of Montenegro. Also, the Cabinet members will additionally allocate 10% of their income for this purpose.
Other measures will include sending necessities for people who have lost homes and possible deployment of a rescue mission and medical teams. The Government will also offer that Japanese children from the affected areas come to Montenegrin resorts.
The Government has invited the citizens and companies to respond within the boundaries of their capabilities to the Red Cross of Montenegro appeal for help to Japan.
