Montenegro, Italy to sign agreement on international legal assistance

Montenegro and Italy will soon sign an agreement on international legal assistance, which will improve the cooperation between the two countries in the area of the judiciary and fight against organised crime, Justice Minister Dusko Markovic and a delegation of the Italian Justice Ministry headed by Stefan Dambruoso, Head of the International Coordination Office, concluded at a meeting on Friday, March 18.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the Regional Conference “Strengthening the Fight Against Organised Crime in South-East Europe,” where Italy was invited as a guest.
Mr Dambruoso commended the cooperation between Montenegro and Italy in this area as very successful and conveyed the invitation for Mr Markovic to visit Rome for talks on the preparation for the singing of an agreement on international legal assistance.
