Meeting on DSSR project

Today and tomorrow teams from two DSSR projects will hold a meeting in Podgorica. Representatives of the Ministries of Defence of Montenegro, Kingdom of Norway and the Republic of Estonia will participate in a meeting which will also be attended by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro. DSSR is a project of support of the Norwegian Ministry of Defence to the Ministry of Defence of Montenegro in the area of defence reform.

Topics that will be spoken about during the two-day meeting are, among other things, the reform process of NATO, arms cooperation within NATO, EU and NATO cooperation in the area, and the structure of the European Security Agency.

Representatives of the Ministries of Defence of Norway and Estonia were welcomed by the Deputy Minister for Defence, Drasko Jovanovic. On that occasion, they discussed the results of DSSR project. Jovanovic expressed his belief that excellent cooperation with the Baltic partners will continue in the future as well.
