Slovenian experts visiting the Ministry of Defence

During the three-day visit of the expert team of the Ministry of Defence of Slovenia and the General Staff of the Slovenian Army a lecture was given on the topic "Responsibility of generic category in the process of standardization". The lecturers were Samo Podgornik, Head of Sector for Standards, Codification and Quality Assurance in the Slovenian Ministry of Defence and Lieutenant-Colonel Boris Požek, Head of Standardization Department in the General Staff of the Slovenian Army. The meeting was also attended by senior officers and employees responsible for implementation and monitoring of the Partnership goals.

Experience of Slovenia in the process of establishing a system of standardization in the area of defence was also highlighted, as well as tactical responsibilities of holders in the formation of generic categories to the process. Also, they discussed other technical issues related to standardization, codification and quality assurance.
