“The potential of young people in Montenegro will be of great significance for our country’s ambition to reach the goals set in the coming period and also for the future of European integration,” Prime Minister Igor Luksic said at the certificate award ceremony for the IV Generation of the Government Internship Programme organised by NGO Centre for Democratic Transition with the support of the EU Mission to Montenegro.

PM Luksic welcomed the students’ eagerness to change the country for the better and remarked that he wishes for Montenegro to be lead by young and capable people whose “enthusiasm and fresh ideas would enrich all segments of our society.”

The Prime Minister also said that the Internship Programme is a practical upgrade to higher education, while underlining the fact that some former interns got jobs at the Government and are contributing to the reforms in Montenegro.

In this respect PM Luksic reiterated the idea of introducing a new concept of traineeship that would be automatically available to all university graduates.
