Slovakia continues to support Montenegro’s EU and NATO accession

State Secretary at the Slovakian Foreign Ministry Milan Jezovic commended, during his meeting with Prime Minister Igor Luksic, the significant advances Montenegro has made towards the EU and NATO integration, voicing his confidence that Montenegro “belongs to Europe” and that “it will fulfill its European perspective”.

State Secretary Jezovic participated at the conference on Montenegro’s European integration in Podgorica on Tuesday, 6 April. The project, sponsored by the Government of Slovakia, is aimed at upgrading cooperation among all stakeholders in Montenegro regarding integration process.

PM Luksic underlined the importance of continued Slovakian support to Montenegro, voicing hope that the excellent bilateral relations between the two countries are to be additionally strenghtened through singing several bilateral agreements in the near future.
