Brigadier General Gerhard Schulz in a farewell visit

Head of the Military Cooperation Division (MILCoop) at Joint Forces Command Naples - JFC Brigadier General Gerhard Schulz visited Montenegro. During his farewell visit, General Schultz met with the chief of General Staff of the Army of Montenegro Vice Admiral Dragan Samardzic and Deputy Minister for Defence Policy Drasko Jovanovic.

Meetings were also attended by his deputy, Colonel Gianmarco Bellini, who will take office as Head of the Military Cooperation Division.

In separate meetings, they discussed the cooperation of the Ministry of Defence and the Army of Montenegro with JFC Naples. General Schultz pointed out the progress that the Army of Montenegro has made in meeting NATO standards and thus bringing Montenegro closer to NATO.

Chief of General Staff and Deputy Minister thanked General Schulz for his visit and wished him success in his new post.
