Norwegian cadets visiting Montenegro

Cadets and teachers of the Norwegian Naval Academy will be visiting today and tomorrow the Ministry of Defence and the Army of Montenegro.

On their first day of the visit the guests were addressed by Captain Dragoslav Pumpalovic, Head of NATO Department in the MoD, Captain Branislav Keković, Head of Strategic Planning Department and Major Ilija Daković, Head of military-military cooperation in J5 General Staff of the Army of Montenegro.

On that occasion guests from Norway were informed about the achievements of Montenegro on its path towards full membership in NATO, on its Strategic Review of Defence and the organisation and structure of the MoD and the Army of Montenegro.

Cadets and teachers from Norway will also visit the Navy and the Air Force base where they will be presented the project of the Regional Centre for Training Helicopter Pilots.

A visit of Norwegian cadets and teachers is another evidence of excellent collaboration between Montenegro and the Kingdom of Norway in the area of defence.
