Budva, Montenergro (April 21-22) – Montenegrin chairmanship of the South East European Co-operation Process (SEECP) will host a regional conference on crisis management, one of the key areas for regional cooperation, in Hotel “Maestral” in Pržno, Budva.

Numerous recent natural disasters in the region, including fires and heavy flooding, as well as a growing need to integrate regionally in various areas, have led the countries of the region to join forces to build capacity, enhance response and civil protection and coordinate communication in crises situations.

Montenegro joined SEECP, originally launched in 1996, in 2007 and assumed chairmanship in 2010. SEECP stretches from the Balkans to the Black Sea and the Middle East, gathering Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and Turkey.
