Minister Vucinic with Israeli Consul Rinot

Defence Minister Boro Vucinic received the honorary consul of the State of Israel, Nimrod Rinot.

Minister Vucinic pointed out during the meeting that cooperation with Israel is very important for Montenegro, and informed his guest about the activities of Montenegro to meet its strategic objectives - European and Euro-Atlantic integration.

The Minister said that there is room for cooperation in the defence sector and that the experience of Israel is very important for Montenegro.

In this context, they discussed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding and possibilities of billateral cooperation, especially in the military industry. Consul Rinot said he would be the contact person for the cooperation between Israel and Montenegro, and invited Minister Vucinic to visit the Israeli Minister of Defence, what Minister Vucinic gladly accepted.

Minister Vucinic informed his guest on the participation of Montenegrin Army in peacekeeping missions and what the MoD has done for a short time of existence in terms of reforms and adoption of key strategic documents and regulations.
