PM Luksic welcomes Ratko Mladic’s arrest as good news for whole region

Podgorica, Montenegro (26 May 2011) -- The arrest of war crimes fugitive Ratko Madic is good news for the European perspective of the whole region, Prime Minister Igor Luksic told Mina News Agency, commenting on the news that Bosnian Serb wartime general has been arrested in Serbia.
“We welcome the fact that Serbia is finally fulfilling its commitment to cooperate with the International War Crimes Tribunal in The Hague,” said PM Luksic.
Ratko Mladic was arrested this morning in an operation conducted by Serbian intelligence and law enforcement agencies, the Serbian authorities have confirmed.
