Meeting of A5 Defence Ministers

A meeting of A5 Defence Ministers will begin on Friday, May 27th 2011 at Splendid Hotel in Budva.

Participants of the A5 Defence Ministers Meeting are: Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs Joseph McMillan, Minister of Defence of Albania Arben Imami, Minister of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina Selmo Cikotic, State Secretary of Croatia Pjer Simunovic, Minister of Defence of the Republic of Macedonia Zoran Konjanovski and the host, Montenegrin Minister of Defence Boro Vucinic.

Guests of the ministerial meeting are: Secretary of State of Slovenia Boris Balant, Minister of the Security Forces of Kosovo Agim Ceku, Head of Force Planning Department of NATO Defence Policy and Planning Division, Frank Boland, and Director of RACVIAC Nikola Todorcevski.

Two plenary sessions are planned on the topic; "Euro-Atlantic integration - progress, experiences and challenges on the road to full membership in NATO" and "Regional Cooperation - the importance of joint participation in peacekeeping missions and operations".
