Montenegro interesting for investors at Milan’s EIRE 2011 property and investment expo

Milan, Italy (7-9 June 2011) – Montenegro’s delegation headed by tourism minister Predrag Sekulić presented Montenegro’s potentials at EIRE 2011, a prestigious property and investment expo in Milan known for attracting top property investors. Montenegro received the Country Award recognition for excellent expo presentation, and numerous investors voiced interest to visit Montenegro with expo organisers later this year.
The Montenegrin delegation presented Montenegro’s great potential for FDI, which amounted in 2010 to EUR 643,1m, of which EUR 542,4m was net income, placing Montenegro among the top transition economies when it comes to per capita FDI. The delegation also underlined that Montenegro’s development vision includes, in addition to FDI, production rise, competitiveness and innovation.
The delegation presented important development projects in Montenegro, such as Velika Plaža in Ulcinj, tourist potential of the mountains of Bjelasica and Komovi, and offers of various large real-estate and tourism companies from Montenegro, such as Porto Montenegro, Luštica Development, Metropol Group, Studio Synthesis, Normal Company, Savills & Savills Montenegro and RLC Montenegro. The aim of Montenegro’s EIRE 2011 presentation is to promote the image of Montenegro as an enticing real-estate and tourist destination which promotes sustainable spatial planning in accordance with ecological concerns.
