USS MITSCHER leaves Montenegro

U.S. Navy ship "USS MITSCHER", who was from the 10 June on a  working and friendly visit to the Army Navy of Montenegro, sailed today from the port of Bar.

All planned activities from the plan of visit of this U.S. Navy ship were completed successfully.

Commander of the Navy of Montenegro Captain Rajko Bulatovic and his associates received the Commander of the ship Cmdr. B. C. Sorenson. The meeting was attended by U.S. Defence Representative in Montenegro, Lt. Col. Douglas M. Faherty.

President of the Municipality of Bar Zarko Pavicevic with associates hosted a reception for representatives of the U.S. Navy ship, attended by Commander of the Navy Captain Rajko Bulatovic.

Members of the Navy of Montenegro, Acting Sub-Lieutenant Djordje Cvjeticanin and Sergeant Major Dejan Devec were loaded aboard the U.S. Navy ship from 5 to 12 June and together with crew members they participated in the training that emphasized on counter-piracy fight.

Two friendly countries navies exchanged experiences and discussed possibilities and modalities for improving cooperation between the countries.
