Sector for transformation and privatization

Sector for transformation and privatization performs tasks which are related to: coordination, preparation of drafts and suggestion on laws and others regulations in the field of transformation; process of enterprise transformation with valuation and preparation of transformation process; making analysis, plans, with processing of data from the field of transformation; controls legality of transformation process with expert opinions and agreement on valuation and proposed enterprise transformation; makes analysis of regulations and economic policy measures for the purpose of achieving the restructuring and privatization of enterprises; monitors contract concluded in the privatization processes which are of interest for Montenegro and contracts concluded with privatization advisors.

Department for valuation and transformation performs tasks which are related to: organization, coordination and preparation of drafts and suggestions on laws and other regulations which are related to transformation area; performs control of valuation of social capital with control of transformation program and legality of transformation process; participate in development of analysis, plans and others documents on enterprise transformation, gives expert opinions and consents on the assessment of enterprise transformations; makes analysis of regulations and measures on economic policy for the purpose of achieving restructuring and privatization of enterprises.

Department for privatization performs tasks which are related to: creating policy aimed to support for the privatization processes; establishing contacts with local and international institutions in order to improve the privatization process; monitoring of local and international regulations in this area and suggesting measures for encouraging investments; monitoring realization of contracts concluded in privatization procedures which are of interest for Montenegro and contracts concluded with privatization advisors for the Privatization Council and tender commissions; organization of expert groups and counseling and establishing of other contacts within the scope of this section.
