Minister Vucinic recieved Polish Military Attaché

Minister of Defence Boro Vucinic received today the newly appointed military attaché of Poland Colonel Jerzy Szczepanczyka. The reception was attended by Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy of Poland in Montenegro Jaroslaw Lindenberg.

Minister congratulated Colonel Szczepanczyka on being appointment as the first military attaché of the Republic of Poland in Montenegro and wished him a successful work.

Minister stressed that the Republic of Poland as the EU presiding country and a NATO member, has great importance has for Montenegro in meeting its strategic European and Euro-Atlantic objectives – EU and NATO membership.

During the meeting, the development of bilateral cooperation plan for 2012 was agreed in the areas of training pilots, special forces and navies of the two countries.

Agreement on Cooperation between Montenegro and the Republic of Poland, signed during the visit of the Minister Bogdan Klih in Montenegro in February 2011, created a basis for concrete defence cooperation between the two countries.
