World Bank grants Montenegro EUR 59.1m loan

Podgorica, Montenegro (2 September 2011) –The World Bank approved a EUR 59.1 million euro loan for Montenegro at the Wednesday board of directors’ meeting, the Finance Ministry reported.
The loan is granted for a 20-year period with a five-year grace period and it comes at six-month Euribor plus 80 basis points. The loan details were negotiated in June.
The Finance Ministry said the loan supports Montenegro’s progress in implementing reforms in the sectors of banking and finance and in the build-up of its stable public finance.
