Slovenian companies announce further investments in Montenegrin economy

Podgorica, Montenegro (7 September 2011) -- Apart from having very good political relations, Montenegro also deepens economic relations with Slovenia on a daily basis, Prime Minister Igor Lukšić said Tuesday at the meeting with the representatives of Slovenian companies operating in Montenegro, pointing out that such a platform should be used for the implementation of new projects in Montenegro.

The positive evaluation of the Slovenian companies’ operations in Montenegro and their cooperation with the Government, the Prime Minister added, are the confirmation of the government’s policy of continued advancement of business environment.

He also expressed his satisfaction at new investments announced on this occasion, adding that there is a lot of room for cooperation especially in agriculture, tourism and air transport.

The representatives of Slovenian companies engaged in insurance, banking, energy, tourism, trade and planning presented the PM Lukšić with the achievements in these areas and plans for further expansion of business and new investments in the Montenegrin economy.
