Meeting Vucinic - Lipka

Minister of Defence Boro Vucinic received today the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic Mr. Frantisek Lipka, and the newly appointed Military Attaché, Colonel Joseph Vystavel.
Minister Vucinic expressed his satisfaction with the meeting with Ambassador Lipka and congratulated Colonel Vystavel for the new position of Military Attaché of the Slovak Republic in Montenegro. He wished him success in his work and expressed his hope that cooperation between the two countries during his tenure will be even closer.
Minister Vucinic emphasized that excellent relations in the area of defence with the Slovak Republic are of great importance for Montenegro, since the Slovak Republic is a full member of NATO and the EU and Montenegro has a lot to learn from its experience.
Ambassador Lipka informed Minister Vucinic that the Embassy of the Slovak Republic continues to organize activities which are aimed at informing the citizens of Montenegro about the importance of Montenegro's Euro-Atlantic integration. He said that the Slovak Republic will continue to encourage Montenegro on its European and Euro-Atlantic path, pointing out that "Montenegro is a bright spot on the map of the Balkans".
Military Attaché of the Slovak Republic expressed his satisfaction that he will be able to help improve the cooperation between the two countries and stressed his readiness to make his full contribution to the Euro-Atlantic integration of Montenegro. He also expressed interest in the Regional Centre for Training Helicopter Pilots in Golubovci.
The meeting also discussed the forthcoming visit of the Slovak Defence Minister Ljubomir Galka to the Ministry of Defence of Montenegro, as well as defining the date of his visit.
