Agreement on donation of BULCOD software signed in Bulgaria

Deputy Minister for development and protection of information and communication systems Mira Cerovic and Deputy Minister of Defence of the Republic of Bulgaria Valentin Radev signed the Agreement on the free right to use the Bulgarian product - national codification software BULCOD. With this donation of the Bulgarian Ministry of Defence, Montenegro gets a codification software which is in accordance with NATO standards, used by most countries in the region.

Cerovic and Radev agreed that this donation is of great importance as it puts a modern software at the disposal of officials of the Ministry of Defence of Montenegro, but it will also improve the defence cooperation between the two countries.

During the visit they talked about forming a team in the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Bulgaria, which will conduct training for employees in the Department of standardization and codification in Montenegro for the use of the BULCOD software.

Deputy Minister Radev thanked Montenegro for the assistance that PI Regional Centre for Underwater Demining (RCUD) provided to Bulgaria in facing the consequences of the explosion near the Bulgarian town Celopecene.

During the visit Deputy Minister Mira Cerović met with senior representatives of the Directorate of Communications and Information Systems and the Directorate for Data Protection.
