Bavarian parlamentarians praise Montenegro's integration efforts

München, Germany (19 October 2011) -- During his working visit to Germany, Prime Minister Igor Lukšić met with representatives of the Bavarian Parliament’s Committee on Relations with the Federation and Europe.
Bearing in mind the positive opinion of the European Commission on Montenegro’s EU progress, the representatives of the Bavarian Parliament welcomed the Government’s continued efforts in meeting the EU membership agenda and increasing the standard of living of the Montenegrin citizens.
The meeting participants exchanged views on current economic and political situation in Europe and worldwide and the Western Balkans’ track record in terms of European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
Both sides agreed that the relations between Montenegro and Germany are going upwards and that the intensive meetings at the highest level contribute to the quality of cooperation between the two countries.
