PM Lukšić delivers lecture at München Institute for Foreign Policy

Munchen, Germany (19 October 2011) -- Prime Minister Igor Lukšić delivered a lecture entitled “Euro in Montenegro - symbol of peace and sustainable development” at the München Institute for Foreign Policy on 18 October.

PM Lukšić spoke about current economic and political trends and European and Euro-Atlantic perspective in the light of the reforms being implemented in Montenegro.

He analysed the current economic aspects regarding the sustainability of euro and the challenges the EU is facing in that regard.

Noting that the enlargement policy is one of the most successful in the European Union, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of continuing the EU enlargement towards the Western Balkan countries, as a guarantor of stability and prosperity and, at the same time, a confirmation of the credibility of the EU foreign policy’s instrument.
