Montenegro, Serbia advance social dialogue and economic cooperation
Podgorica, Montenegro (26 October 2011) –Signing the Memorandum on cooperation betwen Montenegrin and Serbian Social Councils is aimed at establishing an open and high quality social dialogue in the national, regional and international levels, and, at the same, at boosting the two countries’ economic and political relations, Montenegrin and Serbian Labour Ministers Suad Numanović and Rasim Ljajić told the press after signing the Memorandum ealier today.
The two ministers see the agreement as a good way of improving social dialogues in both countries and jointly resloving some issues regarding economic cooperation in a practical manner, such as increasing overall goods exchange and creating an evnironment for bigger investments.
Serbia is higly interested in joint investments in infrastructure, in particular regarding the reconstruction of Belgrade - Bar railway and the construcion of Beograd - Adriatic motorway, as well as in upgrading cooperation in the energy sector, Minister Ljajić remarked.
