Germany to remain Montenegro’s partner in pursuing European agenda

Podgorica, Montenegro (7 November 2011) – Prime Minister Igor Lukšić hosted today the Bundestag’s CDU MP Peter Beyer, with whom he discussed Montenegro’s reform efforts and the EU bid.
Mr Beyer said that Germany holds in high regard and looks forward to the continuation of Montenegro’s efforts in pursuing its European agenda, underlining that Germany will remain Montenegro’s partner on this road.
PM Lukšić said the Government is committed to continuing with reform efforts and upholding European standards in the best interest of Montenegrin citizens.
The two officials also discussed the socio-political developments and the EU integration prospects of other countries in the region.
