Buglaria supports launch of Montenegro – EU accession talks

Podgorica, Montenegro (17 November 2011) – Bulgaria will, at the forthcoming European Council’s meeting on 9 December, provide full support to Montenegro’s receiving the date of accession talks with the EU, Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Tsvetan Tsvetanov told his Montenegrin counterpart Ivan Brajović on the sidelines of the Salzburg Forum Ministerial Meeting in Pravets, Bulgaria.

Minister Tsvetanov underlined that his country highly appreciates Montenegro's efforts in meeting the EU accession agenda and supports the country’s track record in pursuing the seven key priorities the EU has set to Montenegro’s administration.

The two Interior Ministers concluded that there are no open issues between the two countries regarding interior affairs and expressed their satisfaction with the planned implementation of future activities.
