Cooperation with UN highly significant for Montenegro, PM Lukšić says
Podgorica, Montenegro (28 November 2011) – The cooperation between the Montenegrin Government and UNDP has been significantly upgraded, Prime Minister Igor Lukšić underlined at a meeting with UNDP Regional Director for Europe and CIS Kori Udovički.
The primary focus of the joint projects is placed on reducing regional development disparities and full social inclusion, and the continuation of advancing administrative capacities at both local and national level, as a part of Montenegro's integration efforts, PM Lukšić remarked.
UNDP programmes fully correspond to Montenegro's key domestic and foreign policy objectives, which clearly indicates the importance of Montenegro - UN cooperation. Besides the very good cooperation and partnership that have been achieved at the national level, there are also regular contacts at the top political level, PM Lukšić concluded.
