Sick boy has been evacuated from the village Strug

In the early morning hours, members of the Air Force of Armed Forces of Montenegro and medical team from emergency service with the helicopter of the Armed Forces of Slovenia, by the request of the Operational Headquarters for Emergency Situations of Montenegro, carried out an evacuation of the sick boy from the village Strug, the Municipality of Šavnik.

In extremely difficult conditions, a great help to the helicopter crew has been provided by the Strug inhabitants, who for a short time, under the supervision of the head of flight Lieutenant colonel Namik Arifovic, prepared the landing area. With the help of special cables for the evacuation, severely ill young man who becomes sick during the night is placed in the helicopter. After twenty minutes of flight, the young man was accommodated in the Clinical Center of Montenegro, where he has been hospitalized.
