Evacuation of the sick

Mountain battalion, at the request of the Crisis center of the Municipality of Pljevlja, evacuated Mr Obrad Dzuver from the village Crljenice. The team of six members transported the sick person to the vehicle, by which he was transported, with the assistance of the team of the Health center in Pljevlja, to that institution.  After the action, which lasted around six hours, medical examination and provided care in the Health center, Mr Dzuver was sent home.

However, this was only one in a series of actions of the members of the Mountain battalion during the previous day.

 During the five hours long action, the team of the Mountain battalion, also evacuated the old lady Ms Desanka Babic from the village Mijakovici to the Hospital, where she stayed. Across the impassable part of the terrain, from the main road to the house of Ms Babic, members of the Mountain battalion had to walk 4 kilometers about four hours. They also fed her cattle and left the food, at least for four days more.

In a series of today’s activities of the Mountain battalion, the visit of all sick persons, who have been evacuated during the previous days to the Hospital, has been foreseen.
