Cooperation and dialogue are in everyone's interest, PM Lukšić underlines in Warsaw
Warsaw, Poland (26 April 2012) – The cooperation between Central European countries and China has greatly progressed in recent years, Prime Minister Igor Lukšić said at the meeting of prime ministers of Poland, Central Europe and China in Warsaw earlier today. This is highly significant, he added, as economic cooperation represents a basic instrument for economic prosperity and improved competitiveness.
“I am convinced that we all have a lot to offer to each other, and I believe that this is a model to be followed”, PM Lukšić underlined.
Central Europe and China have established many areas with strategic and long term corporation perspectives such as infrastructure, high technology, clean energy, education, culture and many others, PM Lukšić remarked.
“I strongly believe that, if combined with spirit of mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit, a common development will be an outcome”, he noted.
The Prime Minister reiterated Montenegro’s strong commitment to boosting all forms of cooperation and becoming more open to the world, underlining the importance of further encouragement of regional dialogue and cooperation as a mechanism for minimizing negative effects of the global crisis.
"We look forward to our prosperous cooperation inside and outside Europe, and in particular with China," Prime Minister Lukšić concluded.
