Podgorica, Montenegro (13 June 2012) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration presented today the visual identity of Montenegro’s EU negotiations process. The logo was chosen from among 16 applications submitted at a competition sponsored by the Ministry and the EU Delegation to Montenegro.
The competition was open from 26 March to 25 April 2012 to all students and teaching staff of art, design and architecture faculties from Montenegro’s state and private universities. The best design solution was chosen by a Ministry-appointed jury on the basis of several criteria: relevance to the topic, graphic design quality, originality, and applicability.
The competition’s aim was to attract interest and involvement of Montenegro’s citizens in the process of EU integration, and also to inform them more closely of the changes EU membership brings to the society on the whole.
The Ministry and the EU Delegation awarded prizes to the top three authors:
1st place – Ana Matić, Professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts (FLU), Cetinje
2nd place – Denis Ćupić, Second Year Student at FLU, Cetinje
3rd place – Darija Begić, Second Year Student at FLU, Cetinje
