Prosecutor files charges against 10 persons for documents forgery, illegal border crossing and human trafficking

Podgorica, Montenegro (21 June 2012) – The Office of Supreme State Prosecutor filed charges against 10 nationals of Montenegro, Macedonia and Kosovo for  committing criminal offences of forgery of documents, illegal border crossing and human trafficking.

The indictements were issued on the basis of evidence that have been collected in the collaboration with the prosecutors’ offices of Serbia and Macedonia.

This criminal organisation acted in the territories of Serbia, Macedonia, Kosovo and Albania in the period from 19 Avgust 2011 – 22 January 2012.

In order to gain illegal profit, the organisation dealt with the forgery of documents – passports, IDs and driving licences. The seizure of the documents will prevent illegal border crossing and illegal stay of persons in the EU countries – Germany, Finland and Greece, as well as in Norway.
