Toscelik's arrival in Montenegro encourages further Turkish investments

Podgorica, Montenegro (2 July 2012) – Prime Minister Igor Lukšić and Deputy Prime Minister Vujica Lazović met with newly appointed Turkish Ambassador to Montenegro Mehmet Niyazi Tinilir earlier today.
At the meeting with PM Lukšić, Ambassador Tinilir remarked that the Turkish companies are interested in further investments projects in Montenegro’s economy, emhasising that the economic cooperation will take centre stage at his diplomatic agenda in Podgorica.
The dynamic cooperation at the highest level, which has already resulted in new Turkey’s investments in Montenegro, will be an incentive for futher joint projects, PM Lukšić remarked.
The arrival of Toscelik into the Montenegrin market will incite other Turkish companies to invest in Montenegro, DPM Lazović and the Turkish Ambassador agreed.
The Turkish Ambassador reaffirmed the Government’s support for Montenegro’s EU and NATO bid, adding that the Government will continue to encourage Turkish companies to be part of Montenegro’s development projects. He stressed that the arrival of Toscelik is a concrete oucome of the Joint Commission’s meeting which was held in Turkey in April 2012.
The two officials also exchanged information on the two countries’ current economic indicators and discussed the issues significant for intensifying cooperation at all levels.
