VIP guests from Germany, Norway, Switzerland, Russia and Poland satisfied with their visit to nothern Montenegro

Podgorica, Montenegro (7 September 2012) -- A group of 40 VIP guests from Germany, Norway, Switzerland, Russia and Poland visited Montenegro in order to get acquianted with the tourism offer of the north of the country. The event, which lasted from 31 August – 5 September, was sponsored by the media group “Jahn Verlag” and “Royal Fishing Club” from Hamburg, with the support of the Montenegrin National Tourism Organisation.

The group consisted of people from popular culture, sports and business life, as well as a number of important editors of the magazines that deal with “green tourism”- fishing, sailing, hiking, cycling, etc. The reportages on their Montenegro’s adventure will be aired on a number of TV channels and published in magazines in Germany and other countries as well.

The well known public figures, such as TV presenters Werner Schulze-Erdel and Harry Wijnvoord, "king" of plastic surgery Werner Mang, actor Frity Wepper and German ski jumping legend Jens Weißflog expressed positive impression with Montenegro's tourism potential. After the trip, the articles on Montenegro will be published in reputable magazines specialising in fishing („Blinker“, „FliegenFischen“, “ESOX“, „Angel Markt“, „JAHR Top Special Verlag“, etc).

Every year, “Royal Fishing Club” organizes VIP events in some of the most attractive tourist destinations worldwide. The event has been of particular significance for the development of the north of Montenegro, and also another promotion of Montenegro, especially in the German market, which has shown great interest in the country’s tourism offer this year.
